As of November 7, 2022, all of the following errors have been corrected in a new version of the text, Version 2.0. If you purchased your book before this date (Version 1.0), please note these errata. If we find other errors in the textbook, we will post them here. Check back periodically for updates.

Figures 4-49 and 4-50 (Page 137) don’t correctly show the process for queue clearance at the end of effective green. They show that the subject queue clears at the end of effective green. The maximum queue size for the permitted LT movement is 1.3 veh. This queue clears at the rate 758-100 or 658 veh/hr (0.1828 veh/sec). This means that the queue would clears 7.1 sec after the opposing queue clears, or 17.5 sec + 7.1 sec = 24.6 sec after start of green. This is 5.4 sec before the end of effective green. Qmax for NBLT should be: 1.3 veh. [Note: In Version 2.0 of the book, a revised version of this example calculation has been included.]
